In addition to supporting the programs of Dragonheart Vermont, fundraising for the LCBDF in 2025 also helps to support the programs of Sail Beyond Cancer VT.
Dragonheart Vermont strives to strengthen and empower breast cancer survivors & supporters through the challenging sport of dragon boating instilling in its members the values of teamwork, fitness & community giving.
The Vermont chapter of Sail Beyond Cancer provides patients, caregivers and families a unique opportunity to share important time together while enjoying the beauty of sailing. These experiences allow them to fulfill the beliefs of their parent organization: We believe in the importance of taking time to celebrate life’s beauty together, and we do so by providing a unique therapeutic recreational experience for the whole family.

Festival Artist
Every year, the Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival solicits a local artist to create a print for us. Our artist for 2025 is Kailee Atkinson.
Local Vermont artist Kailee Atkinson draws inspiration for her creations from the beauty of our natural world, our furry companions, and the human body. Her mediums include acrylic and oil painting, printmaking, and mixed media. You can view her commissioned pieces and collection at @kailchip_art on Instagram
